Haverhill?s fire fighters perform a variety of services for the citizen?s of Haverhill in addition to fighting fires. In 2007, Haverhill Fire fighters answered over 10,000 dispatched calls, all related to the protection of life and property. The average response time was approximately 4 minutes.
